Visiting?
Charlotte's First Baptist Church is located in the heart of uptown. Whether you are about to visit for the first time or the tenth time, we have been preparing for you! We have made every effort to make sure your visit with our church family is enjoyable and rewarding.
Parking
We have parking that is right in front of the main entrance as well additional parking located in the deck, at the corner of 3rd and Davidson.
Welcome Center
From the minute you arrive, we have greeters with smiling faces waiting to assist you and your family with whatever need or question you may have.We don't just tell you where to go, and hope you find what you are looking for; we will personally escort you and/or your family to our childcare wing, a small-group Bible Fellowship class, or to a great set of seats for you in our Worship service.
Care for your Children
For guests with preschool children, we provide a nursery where your children will be well taken care of in a caring learning environment specifically tailored to their age. We take security seriously as well and use an ID badge system for child drop-off and pick-up. A greeter will connect with you on your arrival and escort you through all of the "newness" and answer any questions you may have.
What to Expect in Worship
Our services are designed to be worshipful and God-honoring. Praise songs, prayer, hymns, and special music help prepare our hearts for the message from our Pastor, Mark E. Harris. While the entire congregation has a time to greet each other and welcome our guests, at no time will we embarrass you or specifically identify you as a "visitor."
